书生捧墨，白色。紫斑牡丹野生种实生苗中选出，1990年选定。少瓣型。小叶15枚。花单瓣型；腹斑、背斑黑色，大小相同，约占花瓣面的1/2；花丝绿白色；房衣半包，白色；柱头黄白色；心皮5枚，绿色。本品种在美国牡丹学会登记注册。
